Nguyen Quoc Huy

• Born in 1971 in Hanoi, Vietnam.
• Graduated from the Hanoi Fine Arts University (Lacquer faculty) in 1994.
• Member of the Vietnam Fine Arts Association and the Hanoi Fine Arts Association.
• Over 30 exhibitions since 1991, across Vietnam, China, Switzerland, Indonesia, and South Korea.
• Best known for his impressionist landscapes and Buddhist inspired themes.
• Winner of over 15 awards since 1995, including Second Prize, National Fine Arts Exhibition on the theme “President Ho Chi Minh and 1000th anniversary of Thang Long 2009; Consolation Prize, Area 1 Fine Arts Exhibition – Vietnam Fine Arts Association 2009.
• Artworks housed by Vietnam Fine Arts Museum; the Ministry of Culture and Information.
• One of Vietnam’s most distinguished lacquer artist requested to train Chinese artists on lacquer on wood art.”
