Oleksiy Turkot
• Born in Mukachiv, Ukraine in 1969.
• Studied Art at the Mukachevo College of Art, Ukraine, 1981 – 1984. Oleksiy Turkot holds a specialist degree in Architecture from Lviv State University, Ukraine, 1994, where he also lectured at the Architecture Department from 1994 – 1998, while he pursued his PhD in Colour, Form and Material in Architectural Formation.
• Group exhibitions in the Ukraine, the former Yugoslavia, France, Denmark, Norway, England, Poland and Russia.
• Participated in the National Portrait Gallery (London), The Portrait Award by BP in 2007 and 2009.
